The Upper Room 15 March 09

At our gathering this week, we watched Shane Claiborne’s session from the 2009 National Pastors Convention held in San Diego in early February. In the face of what the head of the IMF has recently referred to as ‘the Great Recession’, Shane challenges us to think deeply about our attitudes towards money and the power it exerts in our lives and to consider what the world would look like if we really lived as though we believed that Jesus actually meant everything he said.
